We will meet the challenge of combining creativity, craftsmanship and responsive communication to provide our distinctive customers with strong and enduring visual identity solutions.

History

LetterGraphics was established in June of 1976 in Orrville, Ohio by Jim Webster.
The company’s first location was in a former carpet cleaning building. With a modest renovation to the interior, initial projects were hand lettered signs and truck bodies. Within the first three years LetterGraphics introduced redwood sandblasted signs to the greater Wayne County area. As the client list grew, the company moved operations in 1979 to accommodate an expanded office / studio and fabrication space.
The advent of computers opened new opportunities for design and fabrication of interior and exterior signage. Computer generated vinyl cut letters replaced the art of hand lettering. Two CNC router tables made possible the production of detailed designs using wood, plastics, metal, foam and laminates.
In 1995 LetterGraphics moved to its current building occupying approximately 1,500 sq. ft. of office space and 7,000 sq. ft. of fabrication and material inventory.

In 2013, Jim made the decision to move on to other ventures and hand over the reins to long-time employee, Chris Butdorf. For well over 40 years, LetterGraphics has served a diverse, distinguished and ever growing list of clients. We look forward to meeting the needs of our large community for many years to come.
